Our Facilities

The Humber region

Proximity to major wind companies (RWE, Orsted, Siemens)

Our centre has been developed with cutting edge infrastructure at the heart of the refit. We have 2 Blade/Grinding rooms with extraction tables giving an opportunity for 16 candidates to operate in comfort and space. We have a glass cutting room and our main workshop areas have hanging blades recycled which can reflect live issues giving candidates a unique way of working on their skills more reflective of real-life issues than other forms of training.

The comfort of the attendees is important to us and we have two Independent social spaces and a mezzanine floor for coffee and refreshments.

Renewable Power Academy is based at the Catch Facility on the outskirts of Grimsby

We scouted various locations within the Humber region to establish the best location for our training facility. After careful consideration, we decided on the Catch Premises, on the outskirts of Grimsby. Situated at the heart of the Humber hub, Catch offers unparalleled facilities that align perfectly with our vision. Its strategic proximity to key areas like Grimsby and Hull ensures accessibility, while its bespoke infrastructure enables us to deliver specialized support tailored to the sector’s unique needs. Moreover, the ongoing £67 million investment in renewable energy infrastructure in the area underscores our commitment to growth and adaptability.

The Catch premises boast not only prime location but also practical amenities essential for our operations. It’s convenient access to major transportation routes facilitates easy commuting for out-of-area placements, complemented by nearby accommodations such as the Premier Inn. Additionally, ample parking and an onsite canteen enhance the overall convenience and comfort for our staff and partners.

Our investment in the Training Centre reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence. We are approaching the final stages of development and are eager to showcase the exceptional facilities we have built, designed to meet the highest standards.
